The Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation rewards astonishing developments by young Sub-Saharan Africans, who used their engineering to improve quality of life and economic development. It is funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, a British organization bringing together the UK’s leading engineers from all disciplines and offers you the chance to:
- Win a prize sum of 25000 GBP (about 36647 USD)
- Attend a 28-day long training enabling you to develop your technology knowledge, business strategy and network further
- Coverage of your travel and accommodation costs, breakfast and visa fees throughout the training

[3] A description of your innovation (about 300 words)
[4] A short video explaining your innovation
[5] Pictures further illustrating your innovation
[6] An explanation of your business model (about 300 words)
[7] A description of your components (about 200 words)
[8] A description of your target audience (about 200 words)
[9] A description of the major risks your innovation faces (about 200 words)
[10] A description of your team (about 200 words)
[11] Two short essays about yourself (about 200 words each)
[12] A short biography of yourself (about one to two lines)
[13] A photo of your team and yourself
[14] Your and your team members CV
[15] A letter of support by your university or research institution
