Apply for the Leadership Essay Competition, 2020. The deadline for the scholarship is 10th July 2020.
African citizens between the age of 18-25 are encouraged to contribute to important discussions on leadership by submitting an essay for this year’s Leadership Essay Contest organized by the Institute of African Leadership for Sustainable Development (UONGOZI Institute). Additionally, the essay should respond to the following question:
“If you were an African leader, how would you promote African intra-trade to unlock agricultural potential in the Continent?”
The successful applicants of the competition will receive up to USD 2000.
“Uongozi” means leadership in Kiswahili, and inspiring and strengthening leadership is the core purpose of our organization. Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, UONGOZI Institute is dedicated to supporting African leaders to attain sustainable development for their nations and for Africa.
