The Simmons Foundation offers a fellowship to African mathematicians to an internationally recognized mathematics center or university around the world. The program offers a specific research period, not postgraduate courses or postdoctoral training.
The grant covers the following:
[1] Travel costs
[2] Visa fees
[3] Travel insurance fees
[4] Basic cost of living
[5] Cost of accommodation (the institution's guest house or rented apartment if possible)
[6] The cost of a maximum of four taxis

How to Apply:
For submission, the following documents must be submitted:
[1] Application form for IMU-Simons
[2] Curriculum vitae of both the applicant and the professor
[3] Detailed research program
[4] Budget details (in euros)
[5] Official book on invitation from host institution
[6] An official letter from the institution in the applicant's country
[7] Detailed financial report
