The Future For Nature Foundation (FFN) supports young, talented, and ambitious nature conservationists committed to protecting species of wild animals and plants. The Future For Nature Foundation (FFN) believes in the power of the individual. This is why FFN selects a new generation of nature conservationists who they believe make the difference for the future of nature. Natural leaders who inspire and with their drive and ‘stubbornness’ achieve impressive results.
FFN believes that the future generation of leaders in nature conservation can be found in individuals 35 years or younger. Young nature conservationists often work in remote nature areas where it is difficult to bring their projects to the attention of a larger audience. This is why FFN has opted to support young conservationists instead of established names or organizations. Individuals working in organizations are still eligible and welcome to apply, but the FFN Award is given on the basis of individual achievements and not the achievements of the organization they work for.
