Basic qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) or enrolled in a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) granting program at the time of application.
Preferred qualifications: The University is especially interested in applicants with a Ph.D. in Marketing or Psychology, or in a closely related field if the candidate contributes to these research communities. Likewise, it prefers applicants who currently have a Ph.D. or who have advanced to Ph.D. candidacy and will complete the doctoral degree or equivalent degree within six months of the start date.
The University wants the incumbents who will contribute to the research, teaching, and service missions of the Behavioral Marketing group. Additionally, successful candidates will have a successful record and promise for productivity in judgment and decision making. Also, consumer behavior, and social and/or cognitive psychology. That should deepen or complement Berkeley Haass preexisting strengths in its Behavioral Science community.
