Al Futtaim is offering a job opportunity as an Advanced Analytics Manager to join the team in Dubai, UAE for 2020. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Automotive Advanced Analytics programs and use-cases.
  2. Facilitate the creation and approval of complex business cases within the program, and coordinate the sharing of resources among projects.
  3. Establish, maintain, and influence program stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications, both internal and external to the organization.
  4. Develop a high-level intergraded milestone plan for the program and manage program
  5. Execute program plans and capture and communicate program status and data.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert in project and program management.
  7. Coordinate stakeholder engagements Update transformation management tools regularly.
  8. Work closely with the head of Insights and Analytics, group Data / IT teams and the Automotive brands, and potentially vendors.
  9. Lead the delivery of use cases for the Automotive division.
  10. This includes, conducting data quality assessments, sharing relevant insights with business stakeholders, creating model monitoring solutions and conducting QA on other data science models.
  11. Provide guidance, training and coaching to data analysts and the analytics community on analytics frameworks, best practices, and technologies.
  12. Support in the development of analytics standards and protocols to ensure scalability and support self-service advanced analytics.

Qualifications, experience, & skills:

  1. Suitable university business qualification (Degree level or higher).
  2. Deep understanding of Advanced Analytics - Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Economics.
  3. Expert knowledge of program management.
  4. Candidates who are considered for this role should have demonstrated a high-level of Commercial Acumen, Clear strategic thinking and have the ability to quickly create constituency and influence at a senior level.

Minimum Experience:

  1. Minimum of 7 years of working experience in analytics and data science, covering both technical and program management elements.
  2. Experience in professional program management, with at least 2 years of large program management experience in data and analytics (preferably advanced analytics).
  3. A deep understanding of transformation and analytics (descriptive and advanced), with proven record of delivering business impact through analytics solutions

Job-Specific Skills:

  1. Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  2. Ability to self-manage and self-motivate.
  3. Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, resourcefulness and time management capabilities.
  4. Proven record of delivering business impact.
  5. Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
  6. Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and related project management systems.
  7. Expertise on agile methodology or software development life cycle experience in analytics.
  8. Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification and/ or Scrum Master Certification preferred
  9. Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
