The Arab Reform Initiative (ARI) is a research hub that nurtures new initiatives; topic-based vibrant working groups or communities of practice that can bridge policy and research.
ARI offers funding for scholars within the Arab region through its Arab Research Support Program. The program aims at developing the research skills of the new generation of social scientists in Arab countries by offering funding for individual and collaborative research.
It gives priority to innovative, evidence-based research related to the Arab democratic transitions, particularly in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Syria. Requests that carry the potential of fostering team research at a later stage will be given special attention.
