Position Purpose	Art & Design in the School of Visual and Performing Arts is looking for an individual to fill a Student Worker position. The person selected will provide online classroom support for Art History Survey II (Art 1825), a large general studies class, under the supervision of the professor.
Education & Formal Training	High school diploma or equivalent
Computer Skills	Word-Processing, Presentation, Other - Blackboard
Experience	The successful applicant will demonstrate the following qualities: Knowledge and experience with Blackboard Attention to detail, ability to take verbal and written direction, and to think ahead Ability to work independently within departmental policies and guidelines Excellent written and oral communication skills Integrity, punctuality, and dependability Job Duties include: Maintain attendance records and help track at-risk students Participate in online discussions over course content Assist in posting materials to online platforms Consult or assist with acquiring digital materials for course readings Create and maintain calendars and task list Self-starter, good organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions is a must. This job is 5 hours per week. Prefer a graduate student.
