Within the framework of the ERC project DerSympApp, we intend to hire at least one postdoc (two years contract). The project is about derived symplectic geometry. Derived geometry belongs to algebraic geometry, and deals with singular and non-generic situations, such as the ones appearing in moduli problems, using tools from homotopical algebra. In this context, derived symplectic geometry (initiated by Pantev-Toën- Vaquié-Vezzosi) allows to give a precise meaning to several constructions inspired by theoretical physics, eld theory in particular.
Main mission:
Work on shifted symplectic and Poisson structures, the BV formalism, and virtual classes.
Activities:
The postdoc fellows will work at IMAG, in the GTA team, in the research group of Damien Calaque. They will have to participate in the activities of the ERC project DerSympApp (workshops, conferences, mentor PhD students of the group, etc..).
