The Hungarian government offers for the academic year 2021-2022, 200 scholarships for the benefit of international students to pursue their higher studies in Hungary in the fields of engineering sciences, agricultural sciences, natural sciences, sciences human and social sciences, environmental sciences, and computer science and information technology, at the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate levels.

Benefits of the scholarship:

The scholarship program offers recipients the following benefits:

 Exemption from registration fees,

 Monthly allowance, as follows:

- For the License and Master cycles: 43,700 HUF (≈120 euro) as a contribution to living expenses in Hungary, for 12 months per year, and until the completion of studies,

- For the doctoral cycle: The monthly amount of the scholarship is 140,000 HUF (≈ 390 EUR) for the first phase of teaching (4 semesters) and 180,000 HUF (≈500 EUR) for the second phase (4 semesters) ) for 12 months per year, until the completion of studies,

 University accommodation OR a contribution of 40,000 HUF towards accommodation costs for the entire duration of the scholarship period,

 Medical insurance.

Conditions for application:

Applicants for scholarships must meet the following conditions:

- Have the required diploma for access to the study cycle requested before August 31, 2021,

- Have the language prerequisites in accordance with the language rules defined by the host institution, or continue a preparatory year in the Hungarian language covered by the scholarship, for training provided in the Hungarian language.

- Applicants for an entire training cycle (Full Time program), in License, Masters and Doctorate are only eligible.

- Former scholarship holders of Stipendium Hungaricum:

 cannot re-apply for the second time for the same level of study cycle,

 to re-apply to a different new study cycle, they must submit their diplomas before August 1, 2021.
