The Centre of Excellence for advanced materials application (CEMEA) of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) tightly collaborating with Biomedical Research Center of SAS offers a PostDoc position in dynamic interdisciplinary environment, combining tumor biology and nanomedicine. Research activities include the use of nanomaterials for therapeutic purposes, and study of interactions of nanoparticles of various composition and functionalization with biological systems. We are looking for an excellent and highly motivated experienced researcher with a strong background in cell and tumor biology, confocal microscopy, image processing. Previous practice in in vivo mouse experiments will be considered a strong advantage. Candidates should have expertise in the analysis of large-scale biomedical data, using statistical methods, and analysis of complex data sets (multi-omic and clinical/phenotype data) with existing publicly available software (e.g. Xena, TCGA, GEO repository and related tools, gene set enrichment analysis tools etc.).
