LUT School of Business and Management (LBM) is looking for a professor in finance and business analytics.
The position is situated at the associate/full professor levels of the tenure track and will be filled for a fixed term of four years (associate professor) or permanently (full professor)
The position will complement the competences of an existing research group focusing on topics of strategic finance and business analytics, and we are seeking a person who can operate in the intersection of these topics. The person appointed to the professorship must be able to teach in both the Master’s Programme in Strategic Finance and Analytics and the Master’s Programme in Business Analytics.
The person appointed to the professorship is expected to present strong research merits in the areas mentioned above with proof of successful research projects and research collaboration. Documented ongoing international collaboration and/or corporate collaboration are considered an advantage for the applicant. The ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders is essential in the performance of the duties. The position also entails the acquisition of external research funding in different collaboration networks.
The duties related to the position will include basic and advanced education in strategic finance and business analytics. We value documented experience in successful online teaching and instruction in a multicultural environment.

The salary is determined according to the salary system for university teaching and research personnel. The pay will include an individual pay component based on performance and competence. The annual salary range of associate professor will be approximately 42000–79200 euros (gross income, including holiday bonus) and of full professors 68400–103200 euros depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
