The team “genomic plasticity and infection” at the Institute Necker Enfants Malades in Paris, France, is looking for motivated post-doctoral candidates for a position funded for three years by an ANR grant. We are seeking a committed researcher to drive a project addressing fundamental and translational questions on the interaction between the microbiota and the host in an inflammatory context (Inflammatory Bowel Diseases). An emphasis will be on Escherichia coli.
The Institute Necker Enfants Malades is an international research center affiliated to the University of Paris, Inserm and CNRS. Our center provides a stimulating and collaborative environment for basic research and its situation in the center of Paris provide opportunities to interact with other institutes such as Institute Curie and Institut Pasteur. Our team is located in the department of Immunology, Hematology and Microbiology.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or an M.D., and have an excellent academic and research track record, preferably on molecular biology and animal studies. Prior work experience on cell biology will be an advantage.
The position should ideally start in March-April 2021.
