The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students who wish to pursue graduate degrees in engineering at Hokkaido University in Japan in its English Engineering Education Program (E3).
Successful applicant will receive
[1] 144,000 yen monthly for students in master’s courses.
[2] 45,000 yen monthly for students in doctoral courses.
[3] Flight tickets to and from Japan.
Fill out the application form, including the following documents, and send by post to English Engineering Education Program (e3), c/o International Affairs Office (A1-58), Graduate School of Engineering, Hokkaido University, Kita 13 Nishi 8, Kita-ku, Sapporo 060-8628, Japan:
[1] Research proposal
[2] Official academic transcripts
[3] 2 letters of recommendation
[4] Degree certificate
[5] English test score
[6] Abstract(s) of your bachelor's/master’s graduation thesis
[7] Abstracts of paper(s) you have published
[8] A certificate of ranking
[9] Photocopy of your passport showing your photo and nationality
