Established in 1993 and maintained by the income from a fund provided by the Chemical Engineering Student Society. Awarded to a meritorious students in the second year of study, in any field of engineering associated with the chemical engineering discipline in the Bachelor of Engineering program.
An applicant is eligible for the scholarship, if the applicant -
Please submit your application form by the due date.
(1) For the selection process, the Head must establish a selection committee, comprising –
(a) the Head, or nominee, as chair of the committee; and
(b) at least one member of the University’s academic staff who is currently teaching in the relevant field.
(2) The scholarship is awarded to the applicant showing greatest merit as demonstrated by-
(a) academic achievement in courses undertaken in the Bachelor of Engineering program to date; and
(b) personal qualities; and
(c) any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to the applicant’s future success
in the engineering profession as demonstrated by an interview.
