Description

The purpose of the Scholarship is to support students studying an undergraduate program in veterinary science who are experiencing financial hardship.

Eligibility

An applicant is eligible for the Scholarship if the applicant -

submits an application to the Associate Dean by the closing date;
is enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program in Veterinary Science; and
can demonstrate financial need.

Please complete and submit the Alumni Friends Veterinary Science Scholarship online application form by 20th August 2021 at 11.59 PM AEST. Please ensure you've read the prompts in the application form and attach all relevant supporting documents before submitting your application. No late or incomplete applications will be considered.

All submissions will be kept confidential and only used for the purposes of assessing the scholarship.

Selection criteria

The Scholarship is awarded on the basis of the following criteria:

demonstrated financial need;
strength of personal statement included with the application;
academic capability as demonstrated by overall academic performance; and
any other evidence that the selection committee deems relevant to the applicant’s future success in their field of study.
