Description

This Scholarship is part of the Liveris Academy Merit Scholarship Scheme.

Eligibility

You're eligible to apply if you:

  • are enrolled as a full-time student in an approved UQ undergraduate program (listed below)
  • have completed at least 12 units but less than 27 units

And you're any of the below:

  • Australian citizen, permanent humanitarian visa holder, or permanent resident
  • New Zealand citizen
  • International student. 

For Approved Engineering Program:

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronic Engineering
  • Software Engineering

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering

  • Chemical Engineering Field of Study
  • Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering Field of Study
  • Chemical and Environmental Engineering Field of Study
  • Chemical and Materials Engineering Field of Study
  • Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering Field of Study
  • Civil Engineering Field of Study
  • Civil and Environmental Engineering Field of Study
  • Electrical Engineering Field of Study

How to apply

In the UQ application portal:

  1. Check your eligibility by downloading the scholarship rules
  2. Complete the application form - you will need to
    • a cover letter
    • a resume
    • a copy of your most recent studies report from mySI-net 
    • 2 short-answer written submissions. 

Selection criteria

We'll consider:

  • academic achievement
  • strength of interest in your approved program
  • leadership achievement
  • community service/engagement
  • willingness to participate
  • any other matter the selection committee considers relevant for your future academic success.

Scholarship value : $10,000
