International Achievement Scholarship is a beneficial program for talented students who wish to study in the USA. The funding opportunity is provided by the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Through this program, the University of Nebraska Omaha is financing graduate study of students from all over the world. The scholars will receive an award amount of $8,000 per year.

Eligible Countries: Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Russia, Senegal, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
Eligible Course or Subjects: Candidates can apply for all graduate degree courses and subjects available at the university.
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
Be a First-time, Transfer or new Graduate student admitted to UNO (not currently or previously enrolled)
Be an F-1 or J-1 visa applicant or holder
Renewal for up to an additional three years or upon degree completion. Requires full-time enrollment and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Offered Benefits

The University of Nebraska will provide an award amount of $8,000 per year to help offset the nonresident portion of tuition.

Application Process

How to Apply: The candidates must enroll and apply for the desired course online.
The candidates are required to apply for the scholarship through the same platform.
Supporting Documents: The applicants must submit the following documents:
Transcripts
Letter of recommendation
Undergraduate certification
Admission Requirements: The candidates are required to have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 o above and an ACT composite score of 20 or higher to secure admission at UNO.
Language Requirement: The applicants must attain minimum required scores on the following English language proficiency tests:
TOEFL IBT – 61
TOEFL PBT – 500
IELTS – 6.0
PTE – C2
