Eligibility:

You are eligible if you're:

enrolled as a commencing student in the first year of the Bachelor of Journalism or Bachelor of Journalism (Honours)
able to demonstrate educational disadvantage as a result of financial hardship
a domestic student
from a regional or remote area.

And you:

are not in receipt of scholarship funds for your degree from the Commonwealth under another Grant program or from a State or Territory government or other body.

Selection criteria:

Your application will be assessed according to your academic merit as demonstrated by your QTAC Selection Rank at the point of admission to your degree.

Where two or more applicants share the same QTAC Selection Rank, preference may be given to applicants who have experienced educational disadvantage as a result of financial hardship.
