Institution: Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME)
Purpose: To aid students who are pursuing a master's degree in a subject that is related to the marine industry.
Eligibility: Applicants must be members of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME). They must be working towards a master's degree in ocean engineering, marine engineering, naval architecture or another marine-related subject. Students who will be receiving their degree before October 1 of the application year are ineligible. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
