Institution: American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) Institute for Oral Health
Purpose: To support students who have completed an entry-level program in dental hygiene and are pursuing additional degrees in order to obtain a career in dental hygiene education.
Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time students at an accredited college or university in the United States pursuing a degree in dental hygiene education or a related field and must have completed at least one year of a dental hygiene curriculum. Applicants must also have completed an entry-level program in dental hygiene and be active members of the ADHA. They must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have a minimum demonstrated financial need of $1,500. Selection is based upon the overall strength of the application.
