Institution: California Teachers Association (CTA)
Purpose: To support the children of CTA members.
Eligibility: Students must be the dependents of active, retired or deceased California Teachers Association members. Applicants must have a 3.5 high school GPA or high academic achievement in college, although there is the opportunity to explain any extenuating circumstances affecting grades. Scholarships are based on a personal statement, school and community activities and letters of recommendation.
