The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science together with Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences announced the Holland Scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year. This scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands.

Scholarship Amount:

The scholarship amounts to € 5,000. The student will receive this in the first year of his studies. Applicant should note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship and this grant is awarded for one year and can only be received once.

Eligibility:

Applicant should meet the following eligibility criteria:

The applicant nationality is non-EEA.
The applicant is applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
The applicant meets the specific requirements of the institution of his choice. The applicant can find these on the website of the institution.
The applicant does not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.
