Created in a spirit of cooperation and exchange between Europe, North Africa and Egypt, EMMAG is a training program in higher education, funded under the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 program of the European Union, and for assigning nearly 260 mobility grants.
To give life to this program, 20 universities in Europe (France, Spain, Greece, Italy, Czech Republic), North Africa (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia) and Egypt thus wished to meet the objective of developing a partnership of high quality and academic exchanges. EMMAG The program is for students and excellence bachelor students, master, doctorate and post-doctorate and academic and administrative staff in all disciplines.
Coordinated by the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, and co-coordinated by the University of Oran, the program began in September 2012 and will open its first call for applications from November 2012 to January 2013. In this way, almost 200 mobility grants Maghreb and Egypt to Europe and almost 60 European mobility grants to the Maghreb will be issued to candidates with the best academic records.
The first cohort of fellows went for mobility from July 87, 2013. Fellows were able to benefit from this opportunity.
In the second cohort, 80 fellows have gone on the move from the academic year 2014.
