A unique network in the world of mathematics
The Science Mathematics Foundation of Paris (FSMP) is a thematic network of advanced research in mathematics and fundamental computer science in Paris, founded by CNRS, ENS, Université Pierre-Marie Curie, Université Paris-Diderot and 4 Chairs of Mathematics of the Collège de France. The partners are Inria, the universities Paris-Dauphine, Paris-Descartes, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris-Nord, and IdEx PSL (teams of the Ecole des Mines, Observatoire de Paris and EHESS).
The FSMP federates 14 mathematical science laboratories and 23 Inria teams, bringing together 1,800 researchers, including 900 permanent staff, including 5 Fields medalists, 20 Academicians and numerous national and international award winners.
