Orange offers a job opportunity as JIRA Support Engineer in Egypt where he will be responsible for providing level one support to JIRA projects, including JIRA users’ management, licenses tracking, basic troubleshooting for Production / UAT issues, and accompany JIRA users to better understand and utilize the JIRA platform.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Soft Skill/Business Courses & Certification (time management, negotiation/communication skills...) are recommended.
  • Professional experience: 2-3 years.
  • Platforms: Linux, Unix, and Windows.
  • MySQL Database.
  • Jira tool basic knowledge.

Required Skills:

  • Fluent English (speaking and writing).
  • Fluent French speaking is a plus.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative in proactively identifying and resolving problems that can potentially jeopardize the service due date and service quality.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Customer-facing skills with demonstrable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create JIRA users and provide the right access rights.
  • Manage users and licenses.
  • Implement standard / non-complex JIRA projects.
  • Accompany JIRA users by providing training to JIRA new users, sharing the best practice, …etc.
  • Provide Level 1 technical support.
  • Investigate technical issues and report the issue cause.
