Ro'ya invites Jordanians to apply for its job in Amman, Jordan as a Media Library Specialist.
Job Description:
The Media Library Specialist is responsible for the digital materials archives including the creation of metadata records and for policies regarding the creation, storage, preservation, organization, description, and access to these materials.
Eligibility:
- You should have a minimum of two years of experience in processing digital archival collections, including experience in creating metadata descriptions, digitization, and care of born-digital materials.
- You must have a bachelor's degree at least.
- You should have up to 2 Years of Experience in the related field.
- You must have effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- You should be familiar with cataloging, various computer applications, and establishing metadata descriptions required.
- You must have the ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
- Experience in outreach activities and supervisory experience are preferred.
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the production companies regarding the received programs and check with the production department regarding the new programs and the control observations.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the montage regarding the provision of new materials from film materials.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the Promotion section regarding the provision of new programs for the work of Promos as well as providing them with Promos received and approved by the management of the channel.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the YouTube department by providing them with the required film materials.
- Coordinate with graphic colleagues on the production of the new advertisements and provide them with the required film material.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the Social Media Department to provide them with details about the films.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the sports department in providing them with the required film materials.
- Receiving and storing the received film materials, monitoring and sending them to the concerned department and sending a technical and objective report to the channel management.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the broadcasting department regarding securing the required materials for air based on the weekly schedule sent from the scheduling section.
- Data entry for new programs uploaded to the server inside the program vsn.
- Provide the broadcast with the required ID to record live programs, matches and live events.
- Digital archiving of film materials in the library.
- Objective and technical control of film materials received from production companies and film materials produced within Roya.
- Coordinate with the scheduling section regarding advertisements or promos and provide them with details of new materials.
- Coordinate with the engineering department in the presence of problems on the system.
