Job Opportunity as an Engineer with Application and Technical Support from Mannai Company in Qatar

Mannai announces a job opportunity to work as an application / technical support engineer and mechanical in its energy and industrial markets in the division of direct sales.

Job Description:

In this job, you will ensure that the design and system selection is compatible with customer requirements and international standards, provide technical proposals and support to the sales team.

Eligibility:

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • You must have previous experience in GRUNDFOS, XYLEM & KSB.
  • You should have skills of computer literate, MS-office, excellent technical sales capabilities, customer service focused good interpersonal relationship, good communication and presentation skills.
  • You should have 5 years' experience in technical sales and support of pumps and any of the above mechanical products as a minimum.

Your Responsibilities:

In this job, you will:

  1. Provide application & technical support to the mechanical sales team for a complete range of mechanical products includes but not limited to pumps, tanks, water heaters & calorifiers, boilers, heat exchangers, valves, pipes & fittings, etc.
  2. Prepare technical proposals, product presentations, and technical submittal for mechanical products.
  3. Provide all required support for testing, commissioning and after-sales support.
  4. Respond to client introducing the appropriate products, which meet the client’s requirement.
  5. Prepare computer selection and provide technical support and guidance to customers/sales engineers on orders, quotations, installation and troubleshooting.
  6. Prepare technical submittals and follow up with sales engineer until getting consultant/customer approval.
  7. Communicate with manufacturers and local suppliers to arrange for quotations, negotiation, order processing, and technical support.
  8. Cooperate with sales engineers to prepare quotations to follow up reports.
  9. Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  10. Organize and analyze workload distribution to achieve a sales target of each brand within the division.
