Erasmus Intern announced new internship opportunities for Tunisians in France as an English language Tutor and Event Manager. The intern must speak English with the students. However, Erasmus understand that the tutors come to France to practice their French so we try to give them opportunities to speak French when they are not tutoring the students: Unless the tutors ask to do otherwise, the internship is supervised in French; they also speak French with the secretary (who is permanently at the language resource center with them), write emails in French, tutorials in both languages...and get feedback on their French from language teachers. They can attend science classes and conferences in French. They can live on campus. Tutoring French students who have about the same age enables them to meet local students they can speak within French outside the language resource center. The intern will also have the opportunity to attend language classes (languages available: French, German, Spanish).
The intern will work at the Language Resource Centre, a room located near the department of languages of Paul Sabatier University. Paul Sabatier University is specialized in sciences but its students have English classes as most of them will need to use English in their future professional careers if they work as technicians, engineers or researchers. Some of the students who already have a B2 level in English study Spanish or German instead.
The Language Resource Centre is equipped with computers, TV sets, DVD players and furnished with tables, chairs but also armchairs and bookcases containing magazines, novels, resources to prepare for the TOEIC and TOEFL tests...
Supervised in either French or English, this internship will aim at:
