DNV GL digital solutions invite you to apply for its associate consultant internship in Maritime Advisory. Maritime advisory Dubai is a growing consulting unit in Region Southeast Europe, Middle East & Africa. It works closely together with its global advisory hubs located in Piraeus/Athens, Hamburg, Oslo, Singapore, Shanghai, Miami/Houston, Mumbai and Sydney. DNV GL maritime advisory ambition is to be a data smart solutions organisation providing management and technical advisory services within the maritime and offshore industry. Their clients include ship-owners and ship operators (both Deep Sea and Offshore), banks and financiers, yards, ports and government authorities.

Eligibility:

You should have post-graduate qualifications in shipping, logistics, maritime studies, information systems, data analytics, economics/finance.
You should be highly motivated and driven to achieve superior results through teamwork and individual performance. Past outstanding candidates have been offered permanent positions in the DNV GL Dubai office, and some have subsequently moved to other DNV GL offices.
Also, candidates are valued for their communication skills and high level of integrity and Being able to demonstrate the following;

Flexible, agile and very keen interest to learn and collaborate with peers within DNV GL local and global units, and other organisations.
Contributes to new ideas, agile in thinking and fast learner.
Work independently and apply both own knowledge and DNV GL / external best practice.
Communicate, using appropriate channels, in a clear, open, active and honest manner.

Your Responsibilities:

As an intern/associate consultant you will be part of an experienced team conducting research or delivering tailor-made solutions to the clients within the region and beyond, covering all elements of analysis and improvement projects leveraging on digitalization and analytics.

Projects are normally structured in the following phases:

Opportunity assessments: identify improvement areas within a maritime organisation and developing recommendations and capability building road map.
Design of new solutions: working together with the clients to develop cost-effective solutions addressing the improvement areas from the opportunity baseline.
Implementation in the organisation: support in the implementation phase to realize the short term and long term benefits.
