Film Freeway invites directors to participate in its competition to take part in the International Fredd Festival Toulouse and Occitanie Region in France. The festival will take place from the 20th to the 30th of April 2020. Every year, they screen movies in around 40 cinemas across the Occitanie Region during the ten days of the festival. The FReDD International Film Festival will be held for the 10th year in 2020.
The festival is representing France in the Green Film Network, the network of more than 40 Green Film festivals around the world. The International FReDD Film Festival is one of the main Festivals in France dealing with movies and sustainable development.
Your movie must be realized after 2018 and be linked with Ecology (food, energy, ocean & sea, social economy, human rights, agriculture, sustainability, wildlife conservation...).
One prize is given for each of the five categories:
FReDD’s mission is to inspire audiences to look deep into ideas and films, and to highlight scientific knowledge, techniques, and research around themes of sustainability. FReDD presents, promotes, distributes and produces media, thereby offering many opportunities to create and nourish the democratic conversations around these topics.
