The World Food Programme (WFP) is currently seeking to fill for candidates to participate in the PD Summer Internship Programme 2020 in the Policy and Programme Department (PD) in the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) field in Amman, Jordan. The World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. The internship will be typically for the period of at least 3 months from May/June to August/ September 2020.
Under the direct supervision of the Head of the VAM/M&E Unit, the PD Summer Intern will perform the following duties:

According to the WFP, it provides food assistance to an average of 91.4 million people in 83 countries each year. From its headquarters in Rome and from more than 80 country offices around the world, the WFP works to help people who cannot produce or obtain enough food for themselves and their families. It is a member of the United Nations Development Group and part of its executive committee.
