Delivery Hero is offering an internship opportunity in Germany, as it is looking for an Intern - Salesforce Release Engineer to join its Global Salesforce Team, and help in building an inhouse Salesforce ecosystem within Delivery Hero and its global entities. The main task is to understand the strategic business needs and to translate these into the DH Salesforce platform. So, the company can create a dynamic but stable global architecture that is adaptable to local needs.

The selected candidate will be surrounded by passionate Salesforce professionals, who are always ready to support him/her.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science or any other related field
Results-driven, quick learner, and a self-starter required
Working experience on Salesforce platform is required
Creative problem-solving skills, and eagerness to deliver solutions and hungry for a new adventure.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in version control systems, incident tracking tools (i.e. JIRA) and build/deployment tools (i.e. Github and Jenkins).
Experience in Continuous Integration and delivery process is required.

Internship Duties:

Collaborate as a member of an agile team to get products developed and completed with best in class software development/deployment.
Build consistent release management and deployment processes across out of the box feature configurations, programs, and components to ensure they are adopted
Responsible for coordinating/deploying releases of the software.
Accountable for all aspects of a release plan and support transition plan/production readiness checklist (ensuring that no projects release faulty software into production).
Work on automation of the provisioning of Salesforce instances, deployment of code and general configuration management.
Manage source code for branch and merge strategy.
Build processes and metrics to monitor adoption.
