The Melbourne School of Engineering (MSE) has been the leading Australian provider of engineering and IT education and research for over 150 years. They are a multidisciplinary School organised into three key areas; Computing and Information Systems (CIS), Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (CBE) and Electrical, Mechanical and Infrastructure Engineering (EMI).
MSE is looking for an emerging, motivated Research Fellow for a full time role, to contribute to a multidisciplinary project at the forefront between neuroscience, robotics and artificial intelligence. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to develop a career in research and apply their mathematical skills to neuroscience.
A PhD in the area of computational neuroscience, neural modelling, bio-signal or statistical signal processing, or an equivalent qualification with strong theoretical and analytical skills and a record of quality research. In order to qualify for this position, applicants must also have the ability to work as part of a team and to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders including non-technical audiences. All applicants must have commitment to pursue the relevant research topics.

The salary will be based on qualification and experience, USD 60,080 – USD 64,490 p.a. (Level A) or USD 67,888 – USD 80,614 p.a. (Level B).
