Amazon is offering a remote job opportunity, as Digital Devices and Alexa Support Associate, that will join its specialized team. 

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum qualification is High School Diploma
  2. Ability to work overtime as required by business - as much as x hours a week, most often occurring in the weeks surrounding the holiday season.
  3. Flexible with the working schedule; may be expected to work weekends, holidays and events.
  4. Maintain regular and reliable attendance, including the daily schedule as assigned.
  5. In order to work from home, it is necessary to have an Internet connection speed of 25mb for download and 2mb for upload (wired connection not Wifi).

Customer Service Skills:

  1. Dedicated to problem resolution.
  2. Demonstrate a positive attitude.
  3. Be able to resolve a conflict.
  4. Are patient and helpful.
  5. Able to avoid jargon and explain complex concepts.
  6. Are responsible for any given situation.
  7. Able to collect data accurately to identify solutions.
  8. Able to use multiple tools.
  9. Use situational judgement to determine actions.
  10. Have a detail-oriented working style.

Technical Knowledge:

  1. Basic understanding of Device Platforms (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Mobiles, Gaming consoles) and Digital Services (Videos, Music, Apps, Video Games, streaming content, Cloud Storage) and associated technical terminologies.
  2. Ability to translate technical information/instructions into a simple language that would ensure seamless troubleshooting.
  3. Ability to problem-solve.
  4. Awareness of the latest trends and developments in the technology industry.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge to new situations.
  6. Be able to use judgement and common sense to answer customer questions.
  7. Demonstrate a willingness to share knowledge with team members and customers.
  8. Consistently curious about technology.

Communication Skills:

  1. Excellent English communication skills (written, comprehension and verbal).
  2. Ability and willingness to communicate with others.
  3. Ability to demonstrate empathy.
  4. Ability to use effective questions.
  5. Ability to demonstrate active listening.
  6. Ability to communicate in a positive manner.
  7. Good comprehension skills – ability to clearly understand the issues customers present.
