AIESEC is seeking an Operations Officer to join the DP World Expo 2020 as part of an internship that will take place from October 2020 to April 2021 in Dubai, UAE. DP World is looking for high-energy talent to join its Pavilion and create meaningful and fun experiences for visitors. Operations Officers will assist with day-to-day operations, including logistics, planning, reporting etc. They will ensure that the Pavilion operates in a seamless way. The role will be for two months, as part of one of three batches: 1) Oct. 12th – Dec. 16th 2) Dec. 11th – Feb. 16th 3) Feb. 12th – Apr. 13th.

Main activities:

  1. Liaising and coordinating with different logistics contractors and partners, ensuring all services run smoothly.
  2. Collecting and reporting information to be shared with Expo’s own Operations team.
  3. Working closely with the Pavilion Management team to optimize the visitors' flow and safety.
  4. Helping schedule the shifts of Pavilion staff.
  5. Stepping in for any ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

  1. Background: Tourism & Hotel Management, Business Administration, Logistics.
  2. Problem Solving.
  3. Organizational Management. 
  4. Analytical Thinking. 
  5. Languages: Arabic and English.
  6. Study levels: Bachelor or High School.
  7. Working hours: From 8am to 5pm, not on weekends.
