P&G offers a job opportunity in Dubai as associate procurement manager. Procurement is P&G's lifeline to the world of suppliers, translating the needs of the business in a way that enables and invites company's supply base to partner with them in providing products and services of premium quality, to touch and improve the lives of consumers worldwide. As a procurement manager, you are at the forefront of supply-chain activities, controlling expenditure and bringing the outside in. Whether for knowledge, innovation or methodologies, you are the eyes and ears of the company. Your goal is to link the most appropriate supplier capabilities with the business needs to deliver the best shareholder return. You will be managing the company's spend on items ranging from raw and packaging materials, to marketing, software and outsourced manufacturing services, while guaranteeing a significant learning environment across industries and sectors.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher education in engineering, business administration or any product supply related degree.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  3. Strong leadership capabilities and ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  4. Strong interest in the commercial and customer aspects of business.
  5. Excellent commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.
  6. Strategic thinking.
  7. English fluency, fluency in Arabic will be preferred too.  
  8. Relevant work experience will be preferred.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  • Sourcing of raw and packaging material for Middle East and Africa region.
  • Analyzing feedstock markets and conducting industry/market assessments.
  • Developing sound sourcing strategies to address the company's regional business needs.
  • Striking deals through negotiation and leading competitive bidding, as well as executing memorandum of agreement with suppliers.
  • Conducting supplier reliability assessment, developing KPIs, joint action plan, and providing feedback to identify improvement areas.
  • Leading technical and commercial cost saving programs and project ideation to deliver yearly cost savings.
  • Design strategic supply chain setups to deliver the needed speed and reliability for incoming materials.
  • Exploring business-building ideas and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identifying and interpreting emerging requirements that will impact future sourcing strategies.
