The Malmö Arab Film Festival, the biggest film festival in southern Sweden, welcomes actors, directors and producers from all over the world. The aim of the festival is to bring Swedish and Arab culture closer together and enhance cultural exchange through visual storytelling. There will be workshops, exhibitions, celebrations and seminars accompanying the film festival. The festival takes place from October 8-13, 2020.
NOTE: Private individuals, companies, copyright owners, film producers, and film production companies have the opportunity to participate in the Festival if they meet all requirements.

Malmö Arab Film Festival, MAFF, works as an intercultural platform for diversity and tolerance. As one of the largest film festivals with the focus on Arab cinema, outside of the Arab world, as cinema is a mirror that reflects social, cultural and economic life, and its intent is to introduce heritage, folklore and art according to the diversity of its subjects and its comprehensiveness. The Malmö Festival started an ambitious idea that aims to occupy a special place in Sweden and Scandinavia. MAFF has an annual structure with events and festivals all over Sweden with special projects and programs, the festival achieved success and rapid presence exceeded expectations.
