TASC offers a permanent job opportunity to work as a principal site reliability engineer in the field of IT software. The company is in the midst of scaling in the eCommerce arena and part of their requirements include a role for a principal site reliability engineer. If you've established yourself in the DevOps/SRE arena, have lead a successful team in this space, have a history of completing design, architecture and development of highly scalable systems this opportunity will be suitable for you.

Promote best practices in a collaborative manner across the group.
Respected as a top engineer across teams.
Guides teams and fosters a culture to create an architecture that scales.
Fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams.
Promotes and guides cross-team initiatives to improve the system.
Partner with stakeholders, to drive successful solutions.
Deeply specialized in cloud services, IaC and automation.
Evangelist and thought leader in their field.
Always strives for reduction of complexity by finding simple, pragmatic solutions while maximizing impact.
Stays close to competitive technology landscape.
Participates in defining hiring standards for other engineers.
Takes ownership and responsibility for organizational practices and processes and their continuous improvement.
Organize and deliver tutorial and talks in advanced systems and infrastructure topics.
Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of systems, including costs.
Understands business drivers and strategic needs for features and is able to analyse, understand and satisfy constraints in the context of the business' vertical.
Proactively makes suggestions for how the team can leverage new technologies and architectures to improve the platform.
The ability to evaluate effort, risks and dependencies of tasks.
Ensuring the security of company data.
Maintain data standards, including adherence to regulations.
Write database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions.
Control access permissions and privileges.
Ensures that database cluster is healthy and highly available.
