Asameena Magazine "Arab of the Future" Writing and Art Contest

The Arab of the Future Contest

What is it?

The Arab of the Future is a contest in the form of a call for contributions organised by Asameena Magazine. The Arab of the Future will be the theme of our second issue that is scheduled for June-July 2017, and we want to open it to as many contributions as possible.

Who can participate?

Any person less than 30 years old. There are no residency nor nationality requirements.

What kind of contributions are accepted:

The contest is divided in four categories

• Prose (fiction, short-stories, essays, etc.)

• Poetry (poem, sequences of poems, slam etc.)

• Audio-visual arts (videos, short-movies etc.)

• Visual Arts (drawings, caricatures, photography, collage etc.)

Contributions can be in Arabic (modern standard or dialect), French or English, or even in a mixture of these languages.

What is there to win?

Several pieces will be selected by the Asameena team to be published in the second issue.

Among them, four contributions (one for each category) will be selected by a jury of specialists. Each winner will be awarded the sum of 400 euros.
