AIESEC offers an ACE program to German speaking service desk analyst in TCS Hungary. Service desk analyst is providing multilingual infrastructure and application support for an international customer. You will be the single point of contact for the employees of the customer and all IT related problems will be reported to the team via email, phone, chat or web interface. All problems, incidents or service requests should be resolved on the level of the service desk or escalated to higher level resolver groups. You will work from 9 am to 06:00 pm in working days.

Eligibility:

  1. You must have backgrounds in computer engineering and computer sciences. 
  2. You must have training, windows PC usage and technical support skills.
  3. You must be able to speak German and English languages.
  4. You must be in bachelor level of study.
  5. You are required to purchase an insurance for the whole duration of the exchange before coming to Hungary. TCS Hungary reimburses up to 30.000 HUF for health insurance on the 10th month of the internship.
  6. Visa type depends on nationality. If you require Visa to enter Hungary you need to apply to Visa type D, which is a long term visa. If you don't require visa to enter Hungary, you will have 90 days to apply for residence permit post your arrival.

Selection Process:

  1. CV screening: Review if the you meet the basic requirements in terms of background and skills. If you don't pass this phase, you will be notified that the application was rejected and this step lasts for 6 days.
  2. Student certificate approval: After passing the first step, the organization will send you a first contact email requesting you to provide a valid student certificate. The student certificate must assure you are currently a university student and you will have a student enrollment until the end of your internship contract and this step take 5 days.
  3. Pre-screening call: After student certificate is approved, a short call of 30 min is scheduled with the candidate to set expectations and get to know better the applicant and this step take 2 days.
  4. Selection process: Three rounds of interviews, done usually in a row. The selection process usually takes around 3 hours and this step take 2 days.
  5. Feedback: Sharing feedback and results from the selection process and this step take 2 days.
  6. Estimated total process time is  17 days

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  • Assist users over the telephone, through e-mail/voice mail, and over web interface. 
  • Diagnose and solve software and hardware problems by giving step-by-step instructions.
  • Instruct users on usage of application systems.
  • Learn and implement new technologies, tools, processes and policies.
  • Provide training to other staff members as required.
  • Document new technical solutions in knowledge base.
