Volunteering has always been one of the simplest and generous ways for one to leave its comfort zone and explore while at the same time investing in one’s personal and professional development. Wider and deeper concretions to the community and others, career advancement, fun, and fulfillment are just some of the advantages of volunteering.
In a time of a global pandemic and socio-economic crisis just around the corner, it is most natural for us to feel lost and alone and pretty limited in the ways that we can contribute to society (aside from staying home and practicing social distancing).
And this is where volunteering comes to the picture or more precisely online volunteering. Having so much time to spend at home can be a perfect opportunity for us to go the extra mile and invest and contribute to causes we care about but never relay got the time before.
