Are you interested in education policy and would like to dig deeper into the area of equity in education? Do you have a special interest in emerging economies? The Thomas J. Alexander Fellowship offers the opportunity to do research using the Organization for Economic Co- operation and Development (OECD) knowledge base and data products from projects such as the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) and the Survey of Adult Skills (PIAAC) to find policies and future guidelines for policy makers. Moreover, you will work closely with experienced researchers who will help you to further develop your skills and abilities and make new connections. The fellowship is conducted by the OECD and takes place in Paris. The fellowship lasts between three and 12 months depending on your capacities and your mentor’s availability.
The funding of the fellowship depends on the duration but generally recipients will receive a modest stipend to cover basic living expenses.
