Al Futtaim requires HR business partner in Riyadh, SA for their retail division based in Riyadh. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to line management and to country manager regarding HR processes and tools such as talent management, recruitment, performance. You will lead the coordination and representation for all brand verticals in liaison with HRSS, to provide guidance and direction regarding all HR related regulative and legislative matters.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  •  Human resources, psychology or business management degree.
  • Previous experience as a HR business partner for minimum 5-7 years.
  • Change management, organisational development, management development, performance/compensation management, recruitment & selection, employee relations, mentoring/coaching skills, human capital metrics.
  • Analytical skills, financial modeling skills, good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Accountability and high sense of responsibility, work under pressure with minimum supervision, achievement orientated, strategic thinking skills, solution orientated and team working skills.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of: 

  1. In full cooperation with HRSS act as a source of information to ensure all brand verticals and group stakeholders will have necessary updates on country HR matters to develop and adapt their strategies. 
  2. Make sure that all brands are compliant with country and group policies. 
  3. Ensure all jobs have updated job descriptions, line managers are guided in defining organizational requirements and job scopes to ensure a multi skilled  team and lean organization.
  4. Liaises with brand vertical HR teams and TA function regarding leading and planning central recruitment actions. 
  5. Propose and ensure proper communication and employer branding initiatives to attract  talent in relation with TA team and their market strategy. 
  6. Work with and support brand teams to propose, update  and develop selection tools for different roles and support/train  line managers in interviewing and assessment. 
  7. Flag any non compliance and propose support immediately. 
  8. Ensure offers are made in line with job band, TR policies via following the right DOA.
  9. Support retail HRD to prepare and follow a country L&D calendar, providing support to all brands when necessary. 
  10. Take full responsibility of central training and event plans- true north, town halls, business review meetings, high level stakeholder market visits etc. 
  11. Ensure training needs of key and high potential staff are identified and delivered and ensure all key positions have identified successors.
  12. Support and facilitate the implementation of business structure reorganization and consolidation to deliver efficiencies. 
  13. Play a key role in communicating organisational messages and monitoring feedback within the business units.  
  14. Provide HRD and country management with regular reporting of employee metrics and data including costs. 
  15. Ensure annual manpower budgeting exercise is conducted accurately and efficiently by consolidating data for the country in full collaboration with brand vertical HR teams. 
  16. Create, obtain approval for and manage HR department budget and ensure HR team adherence to the business financial systems and processes.
  17. To ensure compliance to HR policy is maintained, to review and strengthen business internal controls and procedures, ensure compliance of DOA and provide leadership on process and governance. 
  18. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and other requirements.  
  19. Work closely with local authorities and policy makers to play a key role in negotiations and corporate activities in conjunction with brand verticals and Group. 
  20. Identify key opportunities and improvement areas in stakeholder management and third party management (outsourcing companies, government offices, agencies, etc) through valid and effective contract management process. 
  21. Flagging any disruption or non-compliance immediately.
