Himam offers a job opportunity in Jordan to work as a financial advisor.

Eligibility:

You must have:

Combined minimum of 10 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
It's preferred to have bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or related field.
Reporting skills and attention to detail.
Be a deadline-oriented and have a time management skills.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

Financial and management functions including the review of systems of internal controls and financial procedures and providing advice to the projects units on all financial matters.
Ensure efficient running of the accounting and information department.
Review and give assist to plan and control of overhead expenditures and financial results.
Assist to establish long term objectives.
Review the accounting system including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, project costing, inventory, cash flow projection, credit and corrections to contribute to overall financial and performance results.
Ensure compliance with corporate, local statutory, and donors requirements through appropriate record keeping.
Work proactively with financial team to control actual financial results consistent with operating plan commitments for the organization.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, quarterly forecasts, performance review and annual budget, year end reporting and year end package.
Maintain adequate procedures and controls to ensure accuracy of job costs.
Establish adequate internal controls and procedures to safeguarded and protect company assets.
Assist in building sustainable financial business mechanisms.
Providing assistance to Himam’s members in building financial budgets and accounting audits.
Develop the financial policies of Himam’s members.
Assist in developing a guide to good governance procedures financially and administratively.
Providing assistance to Himam’s members institutions to deal with challenges and problems and provide solutions.
