The University of Lincoln is offering scholarships for Egyptian Postgraduate students. The University of Lincoln Egypt Scholarship is aimed at supporting high-achieving postgraduate students from across Egypt with a £5,000 Award to study in the UK.

Eligibility:-

In order to apply for this scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Egypt.

  • Already hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in 2020/21.

  • Have been awarded a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum GPA score of 65% (equivalent to a 2:2 in the UK).

  • Meet the English language requirements of their intended course of study – this typically ranges from an IELTS 6.0 – 7.0 or equivalent.

The Selection Process:-

  • This scholarship is competitive and will only be awarded to candidates who demonstrate achievement in academia, extracurricular or personal endeavour. 
  • The above will be assessed by completing a 300 word statement as part of the Scholarship Application Form.

Terms and Conditions:-

  • For students who require a visa to study in the UK, Lincoln University strongly advises that you wait for the outcome of your scholarship application prior to submitting your CAS request.

  • In the event that your scholarship application is unsuccessful, the University may award you an alternative scholarship at its discretion.

  • Successful candidates will be notified by email with detailed information regarding the scholarship award, and any subsequent acceptance/deposit payment deadlines. Please note that scholarships are offered as a tuition fee reduction, and are only applicable for one year of study.

  • Applicants who have been awarded a Lincoln 50% Scholarship must choose toaccept or decline the scholarship award, and pay a CAS deposit, by the dates givenin the award confirmation email.

  • University of Lincoln International Scholarships are non-transferable and are not valid in conjunction with each other; only one Scholarship per student per Programme of Study will be applied. 

  • University of Lincoln International Scholarships will only be applied during the first year of enrolment; scholarships will not be applied to any subsequent years of study.

  • International students who are in receipt of a tuition fee discount are not eligible to receive a University of Lincoln International Scholarship.

  • The University of Lincoln reserves the right to amend or withdraw any University of Lincoln International Scholarship at any point and without notice.

  • International Students who are sponsored (in full or part) by a charitable body, employer or government are not eligible to apply for a University of Lincoln International Scholarship.

  • International Students enrolled onto a University of Lincoln Distance Learning Programme are not eligible to receive a University of Lincoln

  • International Scholarship.International Students progressing from th University of Lincoln International Study Centre are not eligible to receive University of Lincoln International Scholarships.

  • All University of Lincoln International Scholarship decisions made by the University of Lincoln are final.

Benefits:-

  • The scholarship is worth £5,000 offered as a tuition fee reduction, and is only applicable for one year of study.
  • The reduction is 50% of the fees.
