Job Summary

The key focus of the appointees research will be expanding the research potentials in the area of Radiation Oncology for the department. The appointee will take the lead in setting up of a strong pilot team in Radiation Oncology, with specialized radiation oncology research facilities, such as the Small Animal Radiation Research Platform (SARRP) for exploration of the optimal combination of radiotherapy technique and dose-fractionation.

Qualifications for Vacancy for Clinical Professor

Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong. Also, a higher professional qualification of Specialty Fellowship of The Hong Kong College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology or equivalent. Additionally, they should have outstanding research achievements. Furthermore, incumbents should have direct communication with patients, and the languages employed are English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

Benefits

The University will offer a highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Additionally, at current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. Furthermore, the appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary. Also, the University will provide a start-up package that is commensurate with the needs and experience of the appointee. Will provide housing benefits as applicable.
