Applications call for TU Dublin Short Story Competition 2020

The TU Dublin Short Story Competition is run by the Library, Technological University Dublin [TU Dublin] Tallaght Campus, in conjunction with South Dublin County Council, in association with the Red Line Book Festival, and is free to enter. Entries must be in short story format (a short work of fiction) between 1,500 and 2,000 words long and should be completely the entrants own work written in English (high standard), original, unpublished. There is no restriction on theme or style, however, the planned 2020 anthology will be called Creation, Cosmos, & Caboodle and we are looking for strong stories that (even loosely) reflect this title.

By entering this competition, entrants agree to allow the organizers to publish without any compensation, except the prizes as publicized: Their entries (in print and/or electronic formats) Their names and biographical information in all media, including but not limited to newspapers and online websites , However, the above shall be null and void if the entry does not make it to the shortlist, and all rights will revert to the authors

Copyright and License

However, by entering the contest and on being selected for the shortlist, you grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish and reproduce in part or full, in print or online media, and to display your full name, short story, and photograph in connection with the organizers activities, through print or online media channels and/or use any part of the whole in any relevant promotional material.
