IRC offers a job opportunity in Lebanon to work as an admin and assistant for cash data entry who reports to the admin and data entry senior assistant. You will be responsible for assessing referred cases against relevant criteria for protection cash assistance in Beirut area and support in the admin and data entry duties of cash assistance. 

Eligibility:

You must have:

  1. At least one year of prior professional experience in a similar post, preferably with an international organization.
  2. It's preferred to have experience in working with emergency response and refugee population. 
  3. It's preferred to have cash programs experience.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of clients at all times.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to following up tasks until completed.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.
  7. Ability to work autonomously, take initiative and responsibly escalate issues.
  8. Strong team spirit, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment.
  9. Flexibility in working overtime when needed and ability to handle pressure well.
  10. Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). 
  11. Bachelor/degree in social work, counseling, psychology or other related field.
  12. Arabic fluency and it's strongly preferred to have the ability to communicate and write clearly in English.

Your Responsibilities: 

You will be responsible of:

  • Liaise with protection emergency cash team to understand and support finance and procurement needs related to program implementation.
  • Liaise with finance staff to ensure that the finance and procurement needs of the emergency cash are met, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Support in weekly movements and distributions planning for Beirut/Mount Lebanon staff.
  • Provide field support for emergency cash teams when required (risk assessments, field distributions, BoB transfers).
  • Perform other duties, as need it or requested by the supervisor.
