The University of Salford is offering the CSE International Excellence Scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students all over the world. The University of Salford provides industry-relevant, research-informed undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across science, technology, engineering and maths subjects. The scholarship value is £3,500. 

Scholarship Study Fields:-

The Computing, Science and Engineering (CSE) International Excellence Scholarship supports high achieving international students to study at undergraduate and postgraduate level, gaining skills and knowledge for careers in: 

  • Engineering.

  • Data science and computing.

  • Acoustics, sound and physics.

  • Environment and life sciences.

Eligibility:-

  • To be eligible for this scholarship you must be applying for the first year of study on an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate masters programme. 

  • If you are an undergraduate applicant, you must hold an offer for an eligible programme and achieve A level grades BBB or equivalent.

  • If you are a postgraduate applicant, you must hold an offer for an eligible programme, achieve at least a second class upper degree and meet your offer conditions by the admissions deadline.

  • Please note, this scholarship is not available for MSc Petroleum and Gas Engineering or MSc Gas Engineering and Management as a different scholarship is available.

Terms and Conditions:-

  • International scholarships (awards) are available to international applicants who are:

    • Addressed as international students for fee paying purposes and are charged the regular international tuition fee for the duration of the programme.

    • A new student studying for the first time at the University of Salford, not continuing or progressing from one programme to another.

    • Studying full-time, on-campus for the duration of the programme.

    • Studying an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate taught master's programme.

    • Self-funding and not sponsored for the tuition fees for the duration of the programme.

    • Not applying for a programme where the tuition fee has been negotiated as part of a partnership or other arrangement to make the fee non-standard.

  • To confirm the award, you must pay your tuition fee deposit and sign up to the terms and conditions through the scholarship acceptance. No award is confirmed until your tuition fee deposit payment is paid and received.

  • You can apply for more than one award, but will only be eligible to receive one award. This will be the highest in value.

  • The University may cancel any award at any point where the student is found to have claimed under false information.
